We are Reading the Bible Together (RBT), one book or section each month. Over a three-year period, we will read through and discuss the entire Bible. Below you will find a reading schedule along with some questions to consider as you study each passage.
Here are eight questions you can consider as you read each passage, along with a Scripture or two to show why it is Biblical to ask such questions:
- What did you learn about Jesus? (Luke 24:45-47, John 5:39)
- What did you learn about yourself? (James 1:23-24, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- How were you corrected and/or rebuked? (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- How do you feel you need to change to be a “man [or woman] of God, adequate, equipped for every good work”? (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- What did you learn from the Scripture that will help you endure and be encouraged? (Romans 15:4)
- What did you learn that will teach you to do works of service to build up the church? (Ephesians 4:11-16)
- What have you learned that helps you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind? (Matthew 22:37-40)
- What has helped you love your neighbor as yourself? (Matthew 22:37-40)
