Put Off the Old, Put On the New, Part 1
Ephesians 4:17-24 Now that you have become a new creation in Christ, you are no longer to live as those outside of Christ, but you are to be renewed into God’s image.

The Lord is Good
Psalm 100 Because of God’s goodness to you His creatures, you are obligated to offer to God the praise and worship that is His due.

The Independence of God
Acts 17:24-25 God stands in need of nothing from His creation, rather He Himself is the One who supplies all of His creatures’ needs.

The Supply of Each Member
Ephesians 4:16 Each member of the body of Christ is uniquely gifted and fitted into the body so as to build up the whole.

No Longer Be Children
Ephesians 4:14-15 The Lord has given to His church the teaching and shepherding offices in order that His people would no longer be babes, but would grow to spiritual maturity.

God is Spirit
John 4:24 God is spirit, and it is necessary for those worshiping Him to worship in spirit and in truth.

The Eternality of God
Psalm 102:23-28 God is the eternal covenant-keeping God who is able to fulfill His promises to His chosen and their seed.

Deacons: Servants of the Church
1 Timothy 3:8-13 The Lord has given to the church qualified men to serve as deacons in order to minister to the physical needs of His people.

Christ the First-Fruits
1 Corinthians 15:12-28 If Christ had not risen from the dead, there would be no Gospel and we would have no hope. But Christ is risen, and because He has, we will as well.
