We continue our studies in Chapter 21 of the Confession, focusing on prayer.

As we begin to study the subject of religious worship, we see that God tells us how to worship Him only through the Scriptures.

*God alone is Lord of the conscience. *What Christ has set us free from. *Christ has not freed us from lawful authority, but has freed us to obey lawful authority

We begin an evaluation of Chapter 20 of the Westminster Confession of Faith. We see that through His work, Christ has set His people free from what threatened them and brought them into the freedom of the children of God.

*Who must keep the Moral Law? *As Christians are not under the Law as a covenant of works, is the Moral Law still useful to them? *Is the Moral Law contrary to grace?

We look at sections 19.3 and 19.4 of the Westminster Confession of Faith, focusing on the Ceremonial Law and the Civil Law.

We begin an evaluation of chapter 19 of the Westminster Confession of Faith: Of the Law of God. We see that the Moral Law was a part of the original Covenant of Works and look at its relationship to the Ten Commandments.

We continue our evaluation of chapter 18 of the Westminster Confession of Faith. We see that not all believers have the same level of assurance, and that a believer’s level of assurance may increase or decrease.

We study chapter 18 sections 1 and 2 in the Westminster Confession on assurance of salvation. We see that it is possible to know that we have eternal life, and consider how strong that assurance can be.

We study chapter 17 of the Westminster Confession of Faith on Perseverance.

We conclude our evaluation of chapter 16 of the Westminster Confession of Faith, ‘Of Good Works’.
