Jesus Christ is Lord

Colossians 1:15-20 In this passage, Paul describes the Lord Jesus Christ in the most exalted and elevated of language, declaring His glory as God over all things. The focus is particularly on Jesus as Lord of creation and Jesus as Lord of salvation.

Life-Giving Hope

Colossians 1:3-8 Christ became His people’s hope when He died on the cross and rose from the dead. This is the hope of eternal life and does not disappoint. The result of having this hope is both faith and love for the children of God.
